  • How does Wholesale Preordering work?
    Food is purchased in full case increments. You will not be able to purchase individual tubes or half cases. A case is typically 40-50 lbs of food depending on the product. Customer must pickup food on scheduled pickup dates . Pickup dates are currently running every 7weeks. The pickup window is between 5:30pm and 7:30pm on the scheduled date. The schedule can be found on the events calendar. It is important that customers pickup their orders during the scheduled time as we will not be able to store wholesale for pickups at a later time. Customer must pay at the time of purchase. Wholesale ordering opens and closes following the schedule set on the events calendar. Schedule is subject to change, users will be notified of those schedule changes. Wholesale Preorder pickups take place at our warehouse: Schindler Equipment 2185 Medina Road Medina, Ohio 44256 Customer's just need to pull up to the warehouse and Wild Legacy will load your vehicle and you are on your way!
  • When do you place your orders and when are the deliveries?
    Here is our tentative ordering schedule for 2024. Click Here There are 7 weeks in between each delivery. These are subject to change due to holidays, weather and the availability of truck drivers from the Ross-Wells Inc plant in Wisconsin.   • What is the difference between Retail and Wholesale ordering?
    Wholesale Preordering is a bulk ordering option that offers a lower price. That is on a 7-week ordering schedule. Retail ordering is the available stock on hand that can be purchased and picked up at any time. Retail ordering products offer the ability to order individual tubes rather than purchasing full cases. Our retail ordering stock will be shown on WildLegacyK9.com. Retail orders can be picked up at: 2864 Granger Road Medina, Ohio 44256
  • Can I return products?
    Wholesale Preorder: There will be a 20% restocking fee for all Wholesale Preorders that are returned or not picked up. Products cannot be returned if thawed or beyond 15 days from pickup unless approved by Wild Legacy. Fees for returns and missed pickups may be waived if prior scheduling or return reason is approved by Wild Legacy. Retail Ordering: Products cannot be returned if thawed or beyond 15 days from pickup. Please contact Wild Legacy for prior return approval.
  • How do I create an account?
    Account creation is done at checkout for a first time user. At checkout you will be asked for billing information, email, name, address, phone number and login credentials that you would like to use. Once you have created your account in the checkout process, you will be able to login with your new account details to view order status, previous orders, billing address and additional profile information. Please check to subscribe to emails and SMS for the latest updates.
  • What types of payments do you take?
    Payment options: ACH, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Paypal, Google Pay. *Cash will only be accepted on Retail pickups.
  • Do you ship out food?
    No, we are unable to ship raw food at this time. We are local pickup only in Medina, Ohio.
  • Can I email, Facebook message, text message, or call in an order?
    All orders must be submitted online through WildLegacyK9.com. Orders, payments, invoicing, and notifications will all be handled through the site. We encourage everyone to enable SMS notifications while registering online to get the latest order status updates and scheduling information. Also please sign up and add sales@wildlegacyk9.com to your contacts list as we will send out newsletters and current information. WildLegacyK9.com online ordering is available on your PC, Mac, tablet, or mobile device.
  • Is the meat human grade?
    The meat is human grade until reaching the Ross-Wells Inc. plant. They legally cannot advertise that it is human grade because it is pet food.
  • Does Ross-Wells Inc. use any 3-D or 4-D meat?
    No. They did up until 2016, but that was only used at special request for custom blends used for the Iditerod mushers.
  • Why do some products have black powder on them?
    The black powder is a charcoal powder used to denature the products, so it is not used for human consumption. This is ordered by AFFCO. It is safe for dogs and is used as a detoxification and helps with diarrhea. It is NOT in the blended products (Titan Blends).
  • Why do they use added vitamins and minerals?
    In cases where they cannot reach AAFCO nutrient level standards they will add synthesized vitamins and minerals.
  • Manufacture Safe Handling Instructions:
    Keep these products FROZEN until thawed for feeding. To whatever extent possible, thaw in a refrigerator and keep refrigerated until fed. These products contain raw dog food ingredients which can contain bacteria. You should handle these products as you would handle any uncooked meat, fish, or poultry purchased for your use. Wash utensils and hands after touching raw meat, fish, or poultry. Keep raw pet foods and raw pet food ingredients separate from human foods.
  • If I can’t make it to pickup my wholesale preorder, can you store it for me?
    Effective October 25, 2021, we are unable to store wholesale preorder food on pickup night. Please make every effort to pick up your order. Sorry for the inconvenience, our freezer space is at maximum capacity.
